Classes

A young person and an adult are teaching classes. The ideal class would consist of 10 minutes of talking, 40 minutes of doing and 10 minutes of cleaning up. Classes should focus on hands on activities.

Intro to Youth Fighting, Intro to Rapier Fighting - This will be the introduction class needed for youth and parents prior to authorization.
Catapult Making - Julian and probably Amytis will be teaching how to make catapults. Catapult testing will then ensue.
Period games - Jared and Amytis will be teaching period games that everyone can then play.
Authorizations/Warm-ups, Rapier Authorizations/Warm-ups - New fighters can authorize. Pick up and warm-ups encouraged.
Armor checks, Rapier Armor checks - Line up on stage to have armor and weapons checked.
Tourney, Rapier Tourney - Youth tourney, type determined by time
Making Hedgehogs - Aramanthra has said that a select few young people could help her in the kitchen making hedgehogs.
Illumination: Painting Techniques - The instructor will demonstrate good techniques of painting. Using ink drawings from previous class or from instructor, students will paint blank scrolls.
Lunch/Storytelling - Basically, this the time for eating and talking. If there is too much time, then we will do a bit of storytelling.
Youth Marshals Meeting - During lunch is an opportunity for the marshals to meet.
Sewing A Hood - Students will receive instruction and work on making a hood.
Melee - Available space will probably limit melee to two or three person teams.
Melee techniques - The stage can be used for overall instruction or for one on one instruction.
Rapier Resources - Handouts and material to look at.
Making A Leather Strap - Students try out cutting, riveting and stamping with a small leather mug strap.
Illumination: Scroll Layout - The instructor will demonstrate good techniques of scroll layout.
Court - Her majesty, Queen Fina will grace us with her presence and may choose to have a court.
More Court/Bardic - If there is time, after feast there will be either more court or singing and dancing.
Cleanup - Everyone helps with cleanup; this may happen earlier if everyone is tired.
